We thoroughly enjoyed the queen room which was bright with all the amenities. An iron, an electronic key card, and a TV where all available. The hotel was set in a central area near Mill Valley Inn, Muir Woods in "downtown " Mill Valley, and the mountains.
No issues here.

The location of the inn in the town itself and its proximity to SF, the ferries, and the coast was convenient. There were many good options for meals within walking distance of the inn. Nice breakfast offering in the sun room. The town is very scenic and comfortable.
It would have been nice to have had a small refrigerator and a desk in the room, though the lack of these did not cause great inconvenience. Breakfast starting at 6 or 6:30 would have suited us as we're early risers.

Stunning setting, it's right by charming Mill Valley, and restaurants, a market, and shops. Besides, Muir Woods National Monument is 15 minutes' drive away.
All was good.

Staff was very helpful, kind and accomodating in helping us with room arrangements. Got comfortable pull out beds in each room for the kids made up for sleeping when we arrived just as requested. Staff just super and available. Location ideal for accessing beach, city, with quietude at the end of the day.Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend.

The best part is the office staff. I had a room under the kitchen where they do the breakfast and the noise woke me at 5am so they moved me to an upgraded room.
I placed the do not disturb card on the door knob and the cleaning staff came in anyway. There is no security chain on the doors.

The breakfast selection was one of the best we have ever encountered in the usa in 30 years of visits. The cheese and wine at happy hour was also much appreciated.
The room was a bit on the small side.

We arrived at Mill Valley Inn during a whirlwind of wedding planning. The warm atmosphere, thoughtful decor, and friendly staff helped ease our nerves. We felt celebrated!

Location is amazing and the free parking is a plus.
Charged us the wrong amount for our stay, but they were able to clear it up within a day.

Very nice place to stay, but expensive. Absolutely great breakfast in the morning. Where else do you get begals and lox?
A bit on the pricey side
